This application is used to provide single source authoring. A single set of source files are prepared, which can then be used to generate printed documentation, web help, HTML Help, and other forms of electronic documentation without the necessity of copying or editing a different version of the files. If the information is changed in a single source file, then that change will appear in all subsequent versions of the documentation that is produced, no matter how that documentation is produced.

In our practice, we have used RoboHelp to create a web-based User Operations manual. We do not use this product internally.
